The achievements of the aquatics community were celebrated on 26 th November 2016 at the annual ASA Aquatics Awards 2016 held at Birmingham University’s Great Hall. The Awards recognised the vast contribution of individuals and organisations from across all areas of the sport.

Congratulations to all our swimmers who have been competing at the Somerset County Championships. Great new Personal Bests Times are being set and new Club Records, plus finalists and a medal winner. Just one more weekend of early mornings to go so keep up the good work.

The 4th West of England Celebration of Sport Evening was held on Friday 23 rd October at the Bristol Hotel, Bristol. The event was hosted by Colin Jackson CBE, Olympic Silver Medallist and twice World Hurdles Champion.

In order to give swimmers sufficient rest between events, the Annual Gala Heats for ALL age groups will now take place on Wednesday 21st October.

Normal swimming sessions will take place on the Tuesday.
